InTouch® 2012 HMI software have been named Products of the Year 2011 in the respective Process Control and Advanced Management category and the Application and Programming Software category by Control Engineering, Czech Republic.
Control Engineering subscribers identified the products they felt were the most exceptional based on technological advancement, service to the industry and market impact. The Product of the Year Awards covered nine industrial automation categories in 2011.

The Intelligent Marshalling solution employs the new Foxboro Universal Fieldbus Module 247, which is software programmable to manage most standard I/O combinations. Working from any networked Foxboro I/A Series® distributed control system workstation, a process engineer can configure I/O modules for operation with HART, analog inputs, analog outputs, digital inputs, digital outputs or any combination. Intelligent Marshalling lowers equipment costs by significantly reducing cabinet footprint requirements and improving I/O density, while also providing major savings in inventory, spares and on-site configuration costs.
