SIM4ME Portal

SIM4ME® Portal is an integration application that facilitates the powerful combination of SimSci-Esscor’s various process simulation products, including PRO/II, VISUAL FLOW, INPLANT, PIPEPHASE, and ROMeo/ARPM, with Microsoft® Excel. SIM4ME Portal creates an Excel spreadsheet that is linked to a chosen simulator, allowing the bidirectional transfer of applicable variables. The Portal allows a user without simulation experience to interact with the simulator through an Excel spreadsheet without necessitating prior knowledge or experience with the simulation software.

The SIM4ME Portal provides access to simulation models and data to people who don’t traditionally use simulation software, like plant operators, maintenance staff and plant management. This allows to quickly and safely learn more about a process through experimentation -- resulting in greater process awareness, improved operations, and the potential for a greater contribution to the plant’s profitability.

The SIM4ME Portal is the next step in collaborative engineering that facilitates communication between Invensys simulation software products and one of the most common business applications, Excel. This collaboration greatly expands the power of Invensys simulation software and maximizes ROI by making it easier to use, effectively broadening the user base to include anyone who knows simple Excel functions.
