Karen Hamilton
Senior Vice President, Operations and Global Support

Karen Hamilton is senior vice president, operations and global support, for Invensys Operations Management, responsible for supply chain and procurement; manufacturing operations; environmental, health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S); continuous improvement; quality; program management; and engineering support services.

Before assuming this role, Hamilton served as senior vice president of supply chain, manufacturing services and continuous improvement for Invensys Operations Management, responsible for manufacturing, staging, supply chain and strategic procurement, as well as global responsibility for continuous improvement processes, training and tools, sales inventory operations planning and related tools and processes.

She joined Invensys as vice president, global supply chain, for Invensys Controls in 2005 before taking the position of vice president, global supply management, for Invensys plc. Before that, Hamilton was with Motorola for more than 17 years, where she held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, the last being senior director of North America service and quality for the Personal Communications Division. In that position she oversaw all post-sale activity for the $4 billion business, including repair operations, call centers, parts fulfillment, reverse logistics and quality support for the mobile phone carriers.

Hamilton holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where she graduated with high honors. She is also a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma.
