Wonderware IntelaTrac 4.2

Key improvements in the area of security and infrastructure


Invensys Operations Management has released version 4.2 of its Wonderware IntelaTrac mobile workforce and decision support system. The newest version addresses security and infrastructure functionality to support users’ IT requirements. Now all IntelaTrac system management applications are launched and contained within the IntelaTrac Management Center (IMC). This new security functionality also enables the use of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and “single sign on” capability. Users will also be able to upgrade to full 64-bit operating systems and, based on customer demand, IntelaTrac 4.2 will provide the capability to use images as a part of data collection capabilities. With IntelaTrac 4.2, mobile users can capture an image as a ‘Note’ and it will appear in Auditor Plus.

Wonderware IntelaTrac 4.2 continues to deliver enhancements to the core set of IntelaTrac functionality and provides for the changing needs of the market. IntelaTrac is the industry-leading mobile workforce and decision support system. It includes configurable software and ruggedized mobile hardware solutions that enable workflow, data collection and general task management for plant operations, maintenance management, production tracking and compliance applications. IntelaTrac provides out-of-the-box integration with ArchestrA System Platform, Wonderware Historian and other third-party historians and enterprise asset management systems.
