Workstations

Invensys offers reliable, server-class as well as multi-purpose workstations based on the latest technology to power your system’s performance.

Multipurpose workstations provide a versatile & robust platform for human to machine interface (HMI), data acquisition, historian, engineering & configuration functions and applications. All workstations support annunciator keyboards, up to four monitors and USB touch screens. They can also host I/A Series control stations and communicate directly to connected process I/O devices.

Cyber Security Protection is a central focus of all workstation platforms for protection against cyber attack. This ensures that the Foxboro control systems meet compliance requirements of all new cyber security standards, including those put forth by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).

Workstations are based on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) technology. Workstations are supported in a tower form factor while high servers are available in both tower and rack mount with internal RAID 5 support and redundant power supplies. All workstations and servers have versatile operator interface options and redundant Mesh Control Network connections for high availability.

Our proven continuously current product strategy supports upgrades of older workstations to the latest new technology, preserving application investments. This strategy coupled with our advantage program supports lower total workstation life cycle costs. Rigorous on-going workstation and server qualification testing ensures that new workstations continue to meet demanding process automation requirements.
