Brian DiBenedetto
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Brian DiBenedetto is senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Invensys Operations Management division of Invensys plc, responsible for all matters of financial management, reporting and analysis, including oversight of significant strategic initiatives and projects such as research and development; acquisitions and disposals; restructuring; and other ad hoc projects. He is also responsible for the financial aspects of the strategic planning process, including the development of product-line profitability models to support financial projections and management of the annual operating planning process, including the establishment of financial targets and contingency plans.

He has more than 15 years of finance and accounting experience in large and diversified international organizations, including expertise in auditing, analysis, planning, project management and mergers and acquisitions. He joined Invensys in December 2002 and most recently served as vice president of finance for Invensys Operations Management, North America. Before that, he was vice president, financial planning and analysis. He has held several other diverse finance roles within Invensys, including director of transitions and process reengineering, financial controller and senior financial analyst.

Before joining Invensys, DiBenedetto was the senior planning analyst for mergers and acquisitions at Textron Inc., working with the Corporate Planning team to identify potential candidates, model the financial impact of proposed transactions, conduct due diligence and execute other deal-related activities. He began his professional career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Boston, Mass., where he served as staff accountant and senior associate.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. He is a certified public accountant.
